| Abstrakt: | The article deals with the problem of rendering hidden senses of a text when translating it into another language - the necessary basis for the adequate understanding of the text by the reader. The object of analysis are two translations into Russian of the poem “A Lesson” by V. Shimborska. The comparative analysis of the texts show the differences in rendering the senses put in the original. More complete in rendering the semantic load, style and form of the poem is the translation by J. Brodski. |
