Abstract

The Author tries to analyze the notion of fight in the philosophy of law. General conclusion is that fight has always been, is and will be connected with this discipline of philosophy. He describes at least four fields of this fight. First of all, fight is an important element of the philosophy of law, which cannot be separated from this discipline. Secondly, he describes fight between supporters of doctrine of law of nature and legal positivism. The dispute between them has basic importance for the whole philosophy of law as a general law discipline. Thirdly, Author presents some facts from fight for teaching philosophy of law in Poland. The last part of article is connected with the position of fight and fighting in different philosophical and legal ideas.
