Abstract

The article represents the place of the verbs крутить, вертеть in Colloquial style, the Internet testify to their slow but constant changes in Russian lexical system. There is further identification of semantics of lexemes, absorption the meanings of the first one by the semantic field of the second one. The process is not for making the verb вертеть disappear, but for creating the doublet formation of крутить-вертеть.
