Abstract

A true marriage can only exist between a man and a woman. The gender difference, however, is a greater reality than marriage. lt poses problems that come before marriage and accompany it, either finding their solution in marriage, or exacerbated by it. The unity of the two in marriage is related to the problem of loneliness, which has to do with the notion of a person as such. The human being as a person is always one of a kind and the more he is united to the other, the mare fully his individuality is realized. One can only find oneself, however, in the true gift of self.
