dc.description.abstract | Christian personalism has its roots in the creation of man, since God created man as a person. lncarnation was also a personal act, which was not always borne in mind. Throughout history, we find numerous instances where humans were treated like animals. The defining of the term person by Christians greatly facilitated the development of personalism, i.e. treating man as the goal, not as the means, and seeing man as an invaluable good. Currently, we can observe a struggle between personalism and depersonalism. lt is evident especially in reducing man to a commodity, genetic material, or a mechanized unit. The author believes that only personalism may save humanity, and depersonalization leads to perdition. | pl |
