dc.description.abstract	The Boćki pinkas has special importance for the history of the Jewish community from the end of the 18th century. It is strongly recommended to publish the pinkas (characterized with insight by Shmuel A. Arthur Cygielman) in „Błeter far Geszichte" in Hebrew, with Polish and English commentaries. With reference to Jakub Goldberg's paper it should be noticed that the function of Jewish innkeepers was more than inducing heavy drinking since the inns were also scenes of services, culture and entartainment, as well as social and political activities.	pl
