Zmiany w treści prawa do tłumaczenia w postępowaniu karnym według dyrektywy Komisji i Rady 2010/64/UE

Abstract

The paper aims at presenting recent development in the right to interpretation in criminal proceedings as provided in the EU 2010/64 directive. It discusses the intertwining, interacting legal layers (statute law, ECHR jurisprudence, EU law). Further, it reveals the mechanism of the EU directive in question infl uencing and strengthening the right to interpretation on the statutory level. It discusses in-depth normative “added value” that the EU directive may have, not merely for the Polish legal system but also for the legal systems of other EU member states.
