Abstract

The old Russian poet described Igor’s campaign, leaning on the public resonance caused by it – on “opinion national”. The supporter of policy single state power, it aspired to express essence of the sociopolitical and moral-ethical compromise. In persevering appeals to opinion of “brotherhood” the medieval poet in many respects has anticipated Pushkin’s meditations over the individual right to authority, about the responsibility of the master and “people’s opinion” as terrible court of history.
