Abstract

The article discusses modern Polish and Russian noun phrases with deverbative. It occurs that they are widely employed in scientific and journalistic styles, usually as syntactic and phraseological patterns. Their usage is usually caused by the necessity and need for the removal of complications in the reception of relayed messages and the tendency to semantic precision in particular lingual units. This phenomenon is typical for the evolution of both Polish and Russian.
