Звуковой мир русской прозы (к вопросу сонористики литературного произведения XIX века)

Abstract

The article presents an attempt to define the character and function of sound representation in the works of Russian 19th century writers. The analysis has shown that the significance of textual music cannot be explained only by aiming at onomatopoeic effects. The acoustic representations attain a symbolic force, pointing also to the authors conviction that there is a sort of kinship between music and literature, and their interaction is both possible and necessary.
