    dc.description.abstractProblems of internal organization of special lexicon are analyzed. As a result of quantitative characteristics, the term of terminological index of special lexicon is defined. The objective method to estimate qualities of cognitive structure of lexicon is helpful to the author to suggest its identification applying the index of semantic coherence. Special lexicon is analyzed on three levels: terminological units, functional terminological paradigms and on the level of suprastructural lexicon.pl
