„Zawsze powinniśmy być sobą”. Seria Magnus Chase i bogowie Asgardu Ricka Riordana jako pomoc dydaktyczna w kontekście zagadnienia zmian społecznych

Abstract

The work discusses the challenges that teachers and educators face in working with young people, i.e. religious diversity, the search for identity, the homelessness crisis, and the needs of people with disabilities. The above themes can be found in the fantasy series Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard by Rick Riordan. The aim of the work is to present Riordan’s trilogy as a teaching aid for Polish teachers and educators when talking to young people about important topics that may be difficult to explain. Novels can serve as a starting point for discussions at school. The work also highlights the role of the fantasy genre and its therapeutic dimension.
