Nota biograficzna:	Anna Maria Karczewska is a graduate in English and Spanish Philology; she is Assistant Professor at the University of Białystok where she teaches in the Department of Comparative Literature. She has a Ph.D. in cultural studies from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS) in Warsaw. She has written a monograph New Journalism as a Window onto the 1960s Counterculture (2017); she has also published articles related to her current research interests that revolve around Latin American culture and Latin American literature.
