Abstract

On the basis of the notes from the travel diary of Zygmunt Krasiński’s voyage to Geneva, held in 1829, the author of the article recreates a mosaic of personal, imagined, and virtual maps, in which the same places, visited by a young poet, are seen in a different way when experienced through diverse roles played by the author, who assumes a variety of voices, including the Exile, the Romantic Wanderer, the Artist, the Aristocrat, and finally, the Traveler.
