| Abstrakt: | The aim of the article is the discourse analysis of selected cookery books for children with a special focus on their genre and cultural determinants and stylistic register. The results of the analysis are compared with the textual determinants of the cookery books as such. The author regards cookbooks for children as a particular text variation of the prototypical genre model. |
