Sentymentalny romans epistolarny wobec tradycji gatunku

Abstract

This article is dedicated to selected aspects of the text model of sentimental epistolary romance. The following aspects are observed: structural, stylistic and pragmatic. The sentimental romance is considered as a link in speech genre evolution, between Old-Polish romance and modern novel. The observed features of the text model are: significant structural schema, emotionality, colloquialism and lyricism of the style and gradual withdrawal from the field of popular writing in the direction of artistic literature. The author postulates in the article the amplification of genre analysis by considering the discourse level understood both as functional and topical text model.
