Dialog kultury chrześcijańskiej i muzułmańskiej w ukraińskiej literaturze barokowej XVII–XVIII wieku. Przypadek Joannicjusza Galatowskiego

Abstract

The article gives an analysis of several compositions of Ukrainian baroque literature which reveals the theme of intercultural dialogue (in this case, a dialogue between religions – Christianity and Islam). The subject of the study is communication, cultural and symbolic contexts of polemical treatises of I. Galatovski. In addition, there is a brief analysis of the historical period during which these works were created, as well as the possible motives of their writing.
