| Abstrakt: | The article is a comparative analysis of contemporary French novels: Michel Houllebecq’s The Map and the Territory and Guillame Jan’s Le Cartographe, which thematise geographical – real and imaginary – space. The plot of both novels is organised on the basis of the metaphor of map, which allows us to refer their interpretation to the discourse of humanistic geography. |
