dc.description.abstract	The paper concerns the literary reconstruction of the space of Lublin as a scenery of M. Wroński’s cycle of retro detective stories. Space is here perceived not only as a material background of human actions but also as a factor affecting the characters. Its creation in the texts under analysis is connected with the destruction of clich´es of common knowledge on the inter-war period, including the deconstruction of myths of Lublin multi-cultural and ‘little homeland’ Arcadia.	pl
