Potrzeba nowej ewangelizacji

Abstract

New Evangelization is a task which was given to the whole Catholic Church by John Paul II. lt is an answer to the situation of contemporary man and to the crisis of Christian faith, particularly evident in some parts of the world. The message of the New Evangelization is revelation, which happened finally in Jesus Christ. Thus New Evangelization does not mean a new message of salvation: the message is one, unchanging, and cannot be limited in any way to suit the contemporary times. lt is the way of proclaiming it that needs to change: a new zeal, new methods and new expressions. New Evangelization is called “new” on purpose, since it is the Holy Spirit himself who constantly reveals the Word of God as ever-new and who enlivens people to proclaim it. This work is a dynamic reality, and therefore the need for deepening and defining it will always be present.
