Abstract

This paper presents a model of equity in modern private law. The author points out that the model of equity is associated with the development of European civilization, the basics of which stem from Greek philosophy, Roman law and the Judeo- -Christian tradition. In summary it indicates the importance of the principle of equity in modern civil law.
