Abstract

The objective of the article is to define lingvodidactic characteristics of a training text. The author analyses the components of training communication, the basic of which is a text. The participants of the cognitive activity consider the text to be a source of information to be learnt, and a starting point to create variants, projections of future statements. The heterogeneous character of a training text makes the author come to the conclusion about the necessity to distinguish the original text, a potential one (authentic to the author’s) and a real one, created by the students while they are working with the text.
