| Abstrakt: | The article is devoted to the semantics and functioning of the green colour in the mythology and folklore of the Poles’e in the Slavonic context. Sign “green” marks mythological space and time. This colour is associated with mutability, unripe, youth and symbolizes fertility, development, vitality, transition. Green colour reproduces an idea about passiveness, property, death, “strange” and the other world. |
