Реализация субъективно-оценочной модальности через когезию в романе “Фараон” Б. Пруса

Abstract

In the article is analyzed the facts of cohesion in Prus’s novel “The Pharaon”. Here is shown that modality is a category as a textual and pre-textual or phrase; Phrase modality sometimes is at a level of the word and of the sentence. Text contains a subjective modality. The writer of any production divides the text into parts, all the parts have its own style and genre, has its functional peculiarity, has its communicative trends. The modality of the text of different style and genre has its various forms of realization of definitely text types. In the article cohesion is shown by the first personal pronoun, by the conjunction “and”, by the negative particle “no”, by the temporal words, by the main hero of the story and its substitutes.
