| Abstrakt: | The study concerns semantic and structural characteristics of names of Russian universities, academies and other institutions of higher learning. Almost all names are rather schematic. The interesting thing is the changing in sense of term university. There are a lot of new universities which names have narrow specialized didactic and scientific characteristics. |
