The article deals with the satirical inversion as a special mechanism for transformation of eternal stories. All eternal stories are represented as the sets of invariant matrices and their realizations in different texts. The matrix can be defined as a complex and the main motive forms “the constant kernel” which makes fast a special sense of the eternal story. The satirical inversion exposes an invariant complex of motives to comic reconsideration and allows to change “an interpretation foreshortening” of the eternal story, to remove it in other plane of understanding. Sometimes the satirical inversion changes not only a flexible matrix, but also changes a sense of constant kernel. At the stories “The Private Life” and “The Photo” by M. M. Zoshchenko’s the antique story about the Narcissus which was enamoured of his own reflexion is transformed by the use of the satirical inversion. This process gives the chance to the author to make traditional philosophical story as a suitable material for the image Soviet social system’s defects. This system destroys an individuality and makes people the identical and faceless bearers of the Soviet ideology.pl
