Некатегориальный семантический компонент локативности (на материале имен существительных русского и английского языков)

Abstract

A totality of поп-spatial English and Russian nouns containing spatial semantic components in their lexical meaning make up the object of the research. Though everything in the world has existential parameters of space there is no „hard-wired” mapping from these spatial properties to their semantic representation in lexical meanings. The significance of spatial characteristics for different lexico-semantic classes may vary thus allowing a differentiation of central and marginal noun classes which sometimes overlap.
