| Abstrakt: | The article analyzes adaptation of the Christian personal names which are used in Хроніка Быхаўца. Slavonic adaptation of the foreign Christian name system has been processed on several levels: graphic, phonetic and morphological. When analyzing personal names special attention is given to the two levels into which the Christian names were included. These are the official languages and the languages used by the common people. |
