Abstract

The problem of the great Russian poet A. Fet works’ influence on the muse of Belorussian poet Yan Chikvin from Belastock is discussed in this article. The author tries to show their spiritual connection, the closeness of their philosophical outlook and emotional state, which is in the sphere of unconsciousness, with the help of the intimate lyrics of the poets mentioned earlier. Impressionistic manner of writing, style lapidary and intellectualism are common for both authors. Nevertheless, Belorussian and Russian writers are often very original in working out similar themes, images and conflicts. This is caused by the differences in both national conciseness and poets’ psychological state of mind and also by the time itself.
