Zapożyczenia w języku rosyjskim: słownictwo komputerowe

Abstract

Computer vocabulary presents new lexical area that occupies important position in modern Russian. The usage of soft technology in everyday life introduces special terminology far beyond professional area into the language. The majority of English borrowings must be taken into account. Phonetic borrowings dominate, for example: компьютер, принтер, файл, сервер and semantic, for example: икона, мышь, окно, помощь. Abbreviations are also an important group, for example: ДОС, ИБМ, Мак. Except from the terminology taken from English, the attention should be paid to computer jargon taken from English, for example: софт, хакнутый, хард, кракер. They also enlarge Russian lexicon.
