Literacka spuścizna Maksima Hareckiego

Abstract

Creative heritage of Maxim Garecky, the classic of Belorussian literature, is analyzed in the context of the development of European literature. It is emphasized that in his literary works a wide range of heroes who represent features of Belorussian national mentality has been shown. Special attention is paid to the novel “Two souls”, the problems of which extend far beyond the limits of its epoch.
