| Abstrakt: | Rafał Lemkin (1901-1959) was Polish lawyer, educated at University of Lwów. He obtained doctor's degree there. He is well known as a researcher on penal law of totalitarian States and on Nazi occupation laws. His the most important book is: Axis Rule in Occupied Europe. Laws of Occupation. Analysis of Government was published 1944. Rafał Lemkin is an author of term genocide in the International law, he is also one of authors of UN convention on genocide (1948). The paper is about his works on the analysis of Soviet penal law before World War II. He published in Polish three important books on this topie (1927, 1928, 1938). They are the most solid analysis of Soviet penal law during Stalin era in Polish pre-war legal literature. |
