Abstract

The article explores the mechanisms and legislative determinants of the transformation of the urbanonymic system under wartime conditions, with particular emphasis on the case of the city of Kharkiv as a space of intense symbolic transformations in response to the full-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation. The aim was also to highlight that the contemporary warfare extends beyond the traditionally understood kinetic operations and includes intangible components such as the linguistic and symbolic spheres, as exemplified by the Russian-Ukrainian war.
