dc.description.abstract | Purpose - This study aims to elucidate the roles of staff involvement in enhancing the diversity of online revenue sources in national security-oriented public benefit organisations (PBOs). Research metod - In this study, a secondary analysis of financial and substantive reports from PBOs is conducted, supplemented by a content analysis of their websites to identify existing online revenue sources. Results - This study proves the importance of staff in creating and maintaining online revenue sources. Furthermore, the utilisation of volunteer work significantly impacts the variety of online revenue sources used by PBOs. Organisations that effectively integrate employees and volunteers into their operations tend to have a more robust online presence and fundraising capacity. Originality / value / implications / recommendations - The study reveals the relationship between the number of employees and volunteers and online revenue sources within the specialised context of national security-oriented PBOs. The findings provide in sights for managers of non-profit organisations on various factors, such as the types of employment and volunteer involvement that may influence online fundraising activities. | pl |
