dc.description.abstract	The article centers on the emigration of Jewish people from Eastern Europe to the United States in the last two decades of the 19th century. The pretext for consideration is Charles Reznikoff’s rarely-read and commented-upon novel Family Chronicle, which outlines, in an interesting if parsimonious manner, the reasons for the mass exodus of Jews and the consequences of their settlement in one of New York’s neighborhoods.	pl

Jego zainteresowania badawcze obejmują amerykańską poezję modernistyczną i postmodernistyczną, odniesienia do Zagłady w prozie amerykańskiej, oraz wykorzystanie materiałów archiwalnych w tekście literackim. Jest autorem licznych prac, m.in. na temat Charlesa Reznikoffa, W. H. Audena, Susan Howe, Edwarda Lewisa Wallanta, oraz Petera Weissa.	pl
