| dc.description.abstract | Remote work, by its very nature, is characterised by the performance of the duties of the employment relationship, in whole or in part, at a place chosen by the employee, at a time agreed upon with the employer. Despite the fact that the employee performs his/her work outside the employer’s place of business, he/she remains under the employer’s control. The issues under consideration here are the scope of this control and the manner in which it is carried out. In my deliberations, I focus on control performed with the use of algorithmic technologies, in particular artificial intelligence, for which a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council Laying Down Harmonised Provisions on Artificial Intelligence (Artificial Intelligence Act) was adopted on 23 June 2023. | pl |
