Pisarze rosyjscy o cenzurze (fragment długiej historii)

Abstract

The article is an attempt to show how important for the Polish research is Russian literature treating about the history of censorship - large part of Polish literature was created within the frames of a specific legal system and certain rules of behaviour applicable to the entire territory of the empire - in fact common to all its subordinate countries. This concerns both the 19th century and the period after the World War II. Out of the extensive set of materials the author made a selection of problems related with repressions against Alexander Pushkin and his fight for freedom of speech. Due to his close relations with Mickiewicz, we should presume that the Russian poet's experiences influenced the literary output of the latter.
