| Abstrakt: | The aim of this chapter is to demonstrate how Twin Peaks: The Return hints at the exhaustion of contemporary television series format while simultaneously regenerating it and inviting the audiences into new modes of audiovisual communication. A special focus falls on the affinity between The Return and an early 20th-century art movement of Suprematism. |
