Leksykalne wyznaczniki emocji w I tomie Listów emigracyjnych Joachima Lelewela

Abstract

The article presents selected issues related to the applied by Joachim Lelewel language exponents of emotions in emigration letters collected in the first volume of Listy emigracyjne Joachima Lelewela. Lelewel as an emigrant wrote a lot of letters concerned with issues related to the situation of Poles, Europe, his friends who shared his emigrant fate. In the article author shows examples of diminutives, adjectives, direct references to the recipients by means of which Lelewel greeted the recipients of his letters. By using them in an unambiguous and clear way Lelewel showed his emotional states, his feelings or attitudes towards people and different issues.
