Abstract

Disability in the realities of the twenty-first century is still treated as a difference. Often encounter the rejection of people with disabilities in social groups, professional circles, in the ordinary, everyday life. Rooted in us from childhood tolerance, but actually to the people tolerant us far. The quality of life of people with varying degrees of disability and the nature of contemporary Polish countryside is an interesting question, therefore, became the focus of research interest. For the purpose of achieving the used method of individual cases, the implementation of the interview was used. The study was conducted with the approval of the respondents in their environment. They covered 20 people with disabilities living in rural areas in the municipality of Lubawa, located in the Warmia of Mazury. People with disabilities make up a very diverse population in terms of the many features of social, cultural, health conditions. Knowing these people led by lifestyle, leisure activities and quality of life in the reality of the Polish countryside gives the real picture of their everyday lives, are not always looking like they had wanted to.
