Nota biograficzna:	Elżbieta Kużelewska - Professor of the University of Białystok, the chair of the Centre for Direct Democracy Studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Bialystok. Her research interests are focused on direct democracy, civic engagement in political life, and the social dimension on European integration. She published two monographs in Polish: “Referendum w procesie integracji europejskiej” (2005) “Ratyfikacja Traktatu ustanawiającego Konstytucję dla Europy i jego następstwa” (2011) and ca. 100 articles. She is Editor-in-Chief of the series “European Integration and Democracy Series” published by Intersentia: Cambridge-Antwerp.
