Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze the otherness of camp style created for marketing purposes. Katarzyna Szczołek, using the pseudonym Sara May, is considered (not only by internet users), to be the most scandalizing person in the Polish show-business. She shocks not only through her looks or provocative behavior, but her assessment of the world of Polish celebrities. Sara May’s language is ostensibly vulgar. Her verbal aggression is a purely commercial act. It increases interest in her blogs, thus improving the singer’s record sales.
