„Своё” – „чужое”: механизм „склонения на русские нравы” в притчах А. П. Сумарокова

Abstract

The article is devoted to the phenomenon of “sklonenie na russkie nravy” in A. P. Sumarokov’s two books Prytchy (1762). The system of metods used by Sumarokov for the russification of traditional fables is described; the poet’s intentions to extrapolate the same tactics on other genres, the genre of anacreontic ode inclusive, has been defined. Sumarokov’s artistic experiments are looked upon as his anticipating the “new drama” theory formulated by V. I. Lukin.
