Abstract

This paper discusses the features of the description of interiors, clothing and appearance in Russian folk lullabies. We investigate the linguistic role of descriptions of corporeal environment in shaping the linguistic personality. Texts of traditional Russian maternal folklore are compared with the author’s lullabies. The relationship of the aesthetics of the world of things in a poetic text with the moral attitudes of the author is analyzed. Verbal and semantic descriptions of a number of corporeal environment provides insight into the belief system of the world, formed in Russian maternal folklore.
