| Abstrakt: | The paper discusses the book by Tomasz Mizerkiewicz devoted to the phenomenon of humour in the Polish literature of the 20th and 21st centuries. Evaluating highly historical-literary merits of the work, the author draws attention to the need of a more precise defining the relation between humour, satire, comicality and grotesque. She also points to Mizerkiewicz marginalizing the satire resulting from understanding it in an exceedingly narrow sense. |
