Znaczenie kapitału społecznego w minimalizowaniu wykluczenia społecznego - w opinii przyszłych pedagogów

Abstract

In the article I am aiming to present the results of my studies concentrating on the availability of help and the forces influencing the degree of effectiveness in its utilization for the benefit of individuals ar groups that have been considered outcasts in our society. I gathered my findings from interviews of 66 first year students majoring in Human Relations in the University of John Paul II. The main focus of these interviews was to obtain opinions on the needs of sick and handicapped individuals and the role that volunteers might play in solving some of their problems. Students were asked to elaborate on what would get them motivated to offer or refuse their help in such situations.
