Twórczość Heleny Radlińskiej i jej znaczenie w rozwoju pracy socjalnej

Abstract

The ideas of Helena Radlińska in the face of the constant socio-economical changes have not lost substance but, on the contrary, are currently re-emerging. The creator of social pedagogy in Poland is said to have a vast contribution in the academic and professional development of social work, depicted by the author as societal work. The problems touched upon in the article regard the role and meaning of socio-environmental circumstances in shaping the identity of an individual. Environmental deficiencies restraining the development of a man should, according to H. Radlińska, be diminished by multidimensional actions taken in the sphere of social work.
