Abstract

Human's behavior in specific sorounding emerges from its social role, personality and current aspirations with addition of values which given space represents to him. Emotions are one of factors which affects the choices related to outside activities, and familiarity created between man and the place shapes the way he interacts with it. In the process of planning and transformation of space there are many possibilities of social participation, which results in temporary or permanent changes in the urban fabric and architecture of the built environment. These will be discussed on selected examples.
