Эстетические программы E. Поповой и русских драматургов конца ХХ – начала ХХI вв.

Abstract

The dramatic art of E. Popova (who is the one of leading Belarusian Russian-speaking writers) was investigated in the aspect of Belarusian and Russian relations. Taking as an example a creative heritage of E. Popova and the new wave generation of Russian Drama (L. Petrushevskaya, A. Galin, L. Razymovskaya, V. Arro, A. Kazancev, O. Kuchkina, N. Kolyada, M. Arbatova), we paid attention to esthetic models: realism, modernism, postmodernism. The typological affinity of their plays of the 1970-1980s was a natural consequence of a uniform historical context, the general Soviet reality which generated similarity of attitude, an author’s position, aesthetic searches (realism). In the end of ХХ and the beginning of ХХI centuries there was a cardinal change of social and cultural paradigms, which led to valuable “accent changes”. In their works E. Popova and Russian playwrights have addressed aesthetic searches of the new “stage languages” which diagnoses this dialectically difficult epoch. Their author’s strategies tend to realism (E. Popova, A. Galin, L. Razymovskaya, N. Kolyada, M. Arbatova), modernism (L. Petrushevskaya, V. Arro, A. Kazancev), postmodernism(L. Petrushevskaya, O. Kuchkina).
