Религиозный дискурс на примере повести И. Пятницкой Пима Солнечный

Abstract

The religious discourse is an eminently popular word in modern humanities. That ambiguous term is related to the text. This communicative opportunity aims to express something meaningful, in other words – it is language in use. In this article the definitions of the discourse, suggested by the representants of French, German, Polish and Russian school, will be quoted. For instance, Halina Grzmil-Tylutka defines “discourse” as an inextricable unity of two mutually qualifying dimensions: linguistic and social. Maria Wojtak believes that “discourse” is both an example of the communicative opportunity and the method of its realization. On the other hand, Russian researcher I. Bogatchevskaya claims that formerly the term “discourse” was exclusively associated with the linguistic practice. However, nowadays this term does not only come down to a speaking practice or written statements, it also includes a non-linguistic semiotic process. Therefore, the religious discourse in Irina Piatnickoy’s novel will be presented in a following way: the heroes-participants of the given discourse, the organization of the discourse in time and space, the aims and values of religious discourse, strategies to achieve the aims and linguistic means.
